Swan Lake

My first day back in London since before the start of the Olympics. I decided to get off the tube at Green Park and walk to my hotel in Westminster.

What I hadn't realised is that despite no Olympics The Mall is pretty much closed to pedestrians apart from a couple of passing places. I ended up crossing closer to Buckingham Palace than usual and had to double back on myself through St James Park. In doing so I came across this swan preening itself so I was able to get a good close up.
