South Foreland Lighthouse
We decided to have a walking day today so headed south to the White Cliffs of Dover and walked from the NT car park there. The first part of the walk wasn't very inspiring but the second half was good. We stopped off at the lighthouse and had a guided tour....separately as they don't allow dogs. Interesting, as is the coast walk back to the car park with a couple of sound mirrors to see, the HM Coastguard helicopter buzzing around and the constant stream of ferries on and out of the Port.
18000 steps apparently....probably about 7.5 miles.....time for a beer!
Lovely weather with just a few squally showers which we managed to avoid!
