Alternative - backblip

I decided to do Baked Apples for pudding tonight but when I looked in the store cupboard  I  found that after my chutney making frenzy of a couple of weeks ago I had forgotten  to replenish quite a few essentials like brown sugar, sultanas or even a jar of mincemeat, which would have been the ideal ingredients to stuff the apples with.  As I'd prepped them there was a quick rummage through the cupboards and all I could come up with was ...  nuts, seeds and honey which actually turned out to be a very acceptable alternative.
