At this time of year, I get in to work before the sun rises. This will change for a little while after the clocks go back at the end of this month, but that will mean going home in the dark.

This photo was taken at 7:50am, you can see the time on the clock tower of St. Stephen's Centre right of centre. Dead centre is the spire of Broughton St. Mary's Church. Left of centre is Berwick Law. On the far right, you can just see the steel work of the stands of Easter Road stadium.

In no time the light disappears as the grey cloud closes in. The sun doesn't make it until much later.
