Morning walk in Epping Forest

We woke this morning to yet more heavy rain: good for the garden but not for walking.  We delayed our walk by half an hour or so, and then Zeus09smum, Zeus and myself set out as usual.
By the time we'd walked for twenty minutes or so, the clouds began to clear and the sun shone through.  The effect was lovely, with the trees glistening and fresh and mist gently rising as the warmth hit droplets of rain falling from the trees.

By the time we had returned home, the dark clouds had gathered  and rain fell again.
