The Phoenix Rises

Arran Brodick

As we awaited our ferry sailing to Ardrossan, we dodged the rain showers. Having searched all the local outlets, cheese, soap and beer, we were ready for the journey home. Arran lovely with mini Scotland compressed into one island.

Our bed and breakfast was friendly and delicious, but our room was a step down from the 2 previous nights. The Glenartney B+B, double bed against a wall and a separate private bathroom, that really needs refurbished to en suite. I'm sure the new young owners will be looking at that in the future. They were lovely as was their employee who did the breakfast. She gave us some directions about what to see in our few hours and we duly took them.

All to soon it was time to head homeward.

Our ferry was much smoother than expected as earlier in the day one was cancelled due to the weather. We were lucky.

Home via parents temporary abode in Dunnipace.

Why do holidays make you tired?
