Blurred Band

Ok, I made a similar Blur blurry photo blip joke three years ago.

I did get some clearer photos, but I like this blurred one; you can see all four of them, and in typical Blur stances. You could probably tell just from their silhouettes who was who. Plus you can see a small part of the impressive Westway (Stonehenge) stage prop behind them.

A great evening in Hyde Park, with a general Olympic feel-good atmosphere, an amazing Blur set/performance, and enjoyable support from The Specials too.

The Tender singalong all seems a bit predictable since the unexpected Glastonbury 'moment', but several other songs were more affecting tonight, most notably End Of A Century, This Is A Low, and The Universal. Even Country House was joyously riotous in the crowd, and unsurprisingly Song 2 was extremely manic.

It really, really, really could happen...
