Tiny cap left from last year

From a monarch butterfly chrysalis to be exact. The swan plant never died off and so I just left it, It is next to the clematis I blipped yesterday which is why I saw this little cap with the sun shining through this afternoon.
The extra was this mornings early shot from a different angle.
