1492 Columbus sailed

My father built model boats, kits sold by the Danish company, Billing Boats. For our son my father bought a model boat at a thrift store, the Santa Maria. That was many years ago.

Outside under the apple tree I have a block of wood on which I place bird feed. This evening I also placed the Santa Maria on that block of wood. I waited with my camera for a bird to perch on the main mast. A few minutes later the chickadees and sparrows arrived and perched on the boat.
