drinking....

Took the afternoon flight from Lusaka to Mfuwe and then a 30 minute drive to the lodge we were staying at overlooking the Luangwa river (or rather the trickle that is left just now).  Got settled in, it was extremely hot and dry!  Thankfully there was a swimming pool.  At the edge of the pool is an overflow pipe and the vervet monkeys were enjoying a drink!  The monkeys had lots of young.  Got out of the pool and on the way back to our chalet, the guard told us there were 4 elephant just behind our chalet!  We set off to take a few photos....

A wonderful evening meal, early to bed because it is early to rise tomorrow!  Its so good to be back in the bush!!
