Thimphu

We have now moved on to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.  We visited the Memorial Chorten where Buddhists walk three times in a clockwise direction around the building while chanting softly.  Some older people are not keen on being photographed as they believe it may shorten their life but this wonderful and tiny old lady was very happy when I asked her if I could take her picture.  This was her reaction on being shown a picture of herself on the back of the camera.
