Thimphu Festival

We have returned to Thimphu in order to see the annual festival which re-enacts the story of the Gompa's divinity through music and dance.  What a spectacle it is but unfortunately it is raining and I have difficulty  getting a good view through the mass of umbrellas.  The costumes must be getting very heavy with the water as people are helping the monks by wringing out the bottom of their skirts in between dances.
