Escape From Sector 7-G

Gettysburg

The drive from Bedford to Gettysburg was pretty straightforward, we are staying for a couple of nights.

It's impossible not to acknowledge that Gettysburg is a key point in the civil war. There are monuments, statues and cannons everywhere you look. Individual buildings and houses are marked with a plaque, 'Civil War Building July 1863' if they were standing during the battle.
We managed to squeeze in a couple of informative attractions in the late afternoon, with the main battlefield tour arranged for tomorrow.
The blip is a mural that caught my eye, and I like how it's avoided any civil war references, other than a faded portrait of Abe Lincoln at the bottom right.

In extras, a view of battle memorials at Cemetery Hill for any civil war buffs.....and a chilling blip showing how I fell victim to the terrifying 'Killer Clown' craze thats sweeping the country ;-)
