~A Medieval Pageant~

I looked at this sunset sky tonight and it reminded me of an army of antediluvian heroes. Each proud knight that was riding into the setting sun was displaying his monarchs banner. All colorful and designed to draw attention to his sovereign lord's place in this procession. Each flag and pennant different than the next, but all combining to make a magnificent spectacle.

March on brave knights for evening is approaching and your dark enemies await. For soon the blackness will come upon you, and your proud ensigns will be but gray and ebony cloth, not even to be seen in the blowing wind and the starry night.
