Last Day, 16th Pump

This was the end of the week for Alfred and Benjamin in the Mzimba district for now. They installed a total of 16 pumps bringing clean water to about four thousand people. They stayed with the communities who were delighted that they came to help. Now they had to drive back to Mzuzu to arrive well past finishing time.
 
The area was Tasuka and the village Mtasuka.
This 7.8 meter deep well will supply clean, safe water to 290 inhabitants where the longest walk will be 260 meters. What a contrast to using a contaminated open source.
