Zoo things

Various meetings today discussing data protection, acceptable use policies, permanence, legal limitations on sentencing in the High Court, digital investment to name several.

One meeting was with one of our volunteer managers whose young grandchildren entertained themselves while we chatted. They were due to visit the zoo after our meeting so these are some of their drawings, including Alice in Wonderland.

The photo is of the reception at the zoo where our daughter is currently working. The zoo has an offer this week of a child getting a free entry if accompanied by a paying adult (1 child per adult) and they have carved an animal pumpkin. The pumpkins are judged but then will go into the animal enclosures as feed.

The local newspaper did not highlight one child over paying adult so she anticipated a bit of chaos today. Not as bad as she feared. The photo is of around 170 and they had over 200 pumpkins by the end of the day.
