Happy Birthday...

To a lovely friend of mine, who I don't think will see this before her special day. She's retired and has been considering getting a small dog for a while. Her son has one and she (quite unexpectedly) loves her to bits. They dress her up in little outfits *shudder*. The dog that is, not my friend ;-)

Anyway, I saw the little dog on the stamp and though straight away of her. I'm not very practised at colouring/shading, so hopefully my friend will forgive my amateurish efforts - my heart's in the right place!
