The Abbey at Sunset

Today offered a fairly rare opportunity to work from my old offices in Farnborough. This meant I could take the scenic route to town and enjoy the tree lined roads which are finally beginning to show their autumn colours.

Even better, the journey home coincided with a magnificent sunset, and I just had time I stop for some shots of St Michael's Abbey, the home of a small Benedictine monastic community, and still have time for dinner before heading back out for choir practice.
