Disco flower

We got up at 2:30 am to discover our flight had been cancelled due to a cabin crew strike with little likelihood of any further Royal Air Maroc flights for the forseeable future. And Lungi airport isn't blessed with many alternative to choose from! Eventually we managed to get booked on the 6:15 pm Brussels Airlines flight to Brussels (via a quick diversion South to Monrovia) and then onwards to arrive at Heathrow at 10:30 am tomorrow. So it could have been a lot worse. In the meantime I managed to get quite a lot of work done in the hotel, wandered around the grounds a few times, and dined well at the airline's expense. I was particularly struck by the tiny purple flower, which looked as though it had a tiny light at the end of each of its hundreds of spikes. Geckos aplenty too.
