Phalaenopsis

It is late. I am standing at the sink thinking, "no photos today. What shall I photograph?" In front of me, on the window sill is a small orchid plant with a beautiful cluster of flowers. "Ah!" I get my Sony camera with the 90mm macro lens on it and voila! Problem solved.

I had a very busy day today. It included a nice long acupuncture appointment, meeting Arvin and the midpoint of his bus ride home, and heading off to Janet and George's for a pot luck party with the Alzheimer's gang. I also had a nice half hour talk on the phone with Arvin's older daughter Lynda. A good day all around.
