Don't ask !!! I passed this Antique shop on my way to Make do and Mend today and spotted the old fashioned fireman's helmet. Straightaway l thought of the postcard l sent my granddaughter from San Francisco. I had climbed the Filbert Street steps (100's of them ,) to reach Coit Tower. Thinking Lillie would be interested because of the same name spelling l bought it along with the medal.As you can tell it was thrown out only recently mind. I hope you can read about it.
Fireball Lil as she was nicknamed was an oddity to her friends but the City built the Tower in her memory.
The shop was closed so l had to make do and blip through the window :-(
