Not A Bad Thing...

Although I traipsed round the garden in the lowering purple-grey light of mid afternoon, searching for something colourful on this largely showery and relentlessly cloudy day - and indeed I did find a flowering verbena next to a gatepost and photographed it (it looked remarkably similar to this, a shot I took last September) - in the end I decided this moody dark shot was more representative of the day...
Never mind, I got a few tasks done, hoovered the downstairs, made some nice cards for friends and got on with some admin chores. I don't really enjoy this sort of weather but when the sun is out I am easily distracted by more appealing outdoor activities....so maybe a bit of foul weather is not a bad thing.
