Delight through the post

I received this postcard today. It's from my walking friends, Maria and Ian Clark. I met them first a few years ago when we were all going on Jon Monks' Shepherd's Walks in the Rothbury area.

Since then Maria, Ian, grandad John and daughter, Catherine, have all come to the walking festivals, sometimes with one of Maria's brothers. This time, they were on the Fungal Foray so I didn't see them

They are walking in the Howgills. How lovely of them to think of me.

Of course, any resemblance to a certain walker is completely coincidental!!

I've been at home. I needed to recover from last night's presentation. It was a lovely evening, but I was drained of energy by the end.  I've been catching up on photo homework.
