Some fresh air

The last few weeks, no, months have been emotionally quite tough and very busy. Many of our good friends are leaving Brussels this year, hubby has been working away a lot and the weather has been generally pants! 
This morning we said a very emotional goodbye to some dear friends who have been staying with us for the past few days as their belongings have been packed and shipped back to Canada. Hubby has been away for a week now so sadly he didn't get to spend the last couple of evenings with them, but we fully intend to see them again, hopefully next summer, if all goes to plan!

This afternoon the three of us needed to get out for a walk/scoot/play, despite the rain, and it did us the world of good. The kids can be such good company when they want. 
We are super excited for Daddy to return so that we can start our summer holidays properly.
