Winter is a coming.

A thoroughly dark, damp, dismal day. No inspiration for a photograph so rushed out to take a garden shot of Michaelmas daisies for a bit of colour.
The blackbirds have started to strip my holly tree - they don't usually start until November. What do they know about the coming weather that the BBC weather watchers don't know? Have picked some holly sprigs to keep in the garage for Christmas away from thieving birds!
