Our favourite place in Mourão so far - these massive pots are filled with their wine - you stand at the bar with a small glass, which they keep refilling, and help yourself to the bits they keep putting on the bar - pulled pork and chorizo and bread and olives... and chatting to whoever comes up beside you.

Looked at a pretty tumbledown property in a nearby village called Granja, wandered down to the Lake, and then drove up to Monsaraz in the dark, for a superb meal, courtesy of D and L. No great photos, but a great day.
