Abu Dhabi Airport

It's nice to find something a bit original in an airport. This is the interior of the central hall of Terminal 1. The fanning column reaches up from the duty free shopping area on the level below before radiating out to the departure gate entrances distributed around the circumference. An early start, up at 5 am local time, 3 am Barcelona time. It's an Etihad Boeing 777 this time to Rome and onto Barcelona where I land at 5 pm local time. It have to wait in the airport to do a conference call at 6 pm. It'll be nearly 8 o'clock before I get home to Dd and dinner.
