Free ranging

Over the summer the hens have been in a pen in next door's back garden -which is just grass and long overgrown ex-veg patch.  Now that it's not really weather to leave your back door ajar the kindly neighbours have given me the okay to let the hens free range over the whole of their garden.  

Lovely to see them enjoying themselves and exploring further afield.  Hen watching is a much under appreciated pastime!  Next door's cat, Reggie, and Ollie agree!
