"Gulliver" and friends
The giant wind turbine "Gulliver", stands more than 400ft high at Lowestoft, Suffolk, the UK's most easterly point. It is capable of producing nearly 3 megawatts of electricity - sufficient to power more than 1500 homes - and was the largest in the UK when erected in 2005, since when this east coast port has been at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution and a major base for servicing and maintaining offshore windfarms.
I have included some of the support vessels and their helicopter in this collage.
