Less than perfect?

Just up the road from us is a field full of flowers.
It starts in early srping with daffodils and tulips then we get the peonies, followed by dahlias, gladioli and sunflowers.
There's a table with knives and twine and an honesty box with details of how much the different flowers cost.
I went today thinking I'd get sunflowers but got sidetracked by the dahlias (had glads last week) which are all so very different and almost at their end, whilst the sunnies have a long way to go yet - next weeks flowers methinks.
I don't know what happened to this flower, if looks as though it's been squeezed, I think it's destined to end its days in the sunny field rather than in a vase in a stuffy house, clever flower.
