Dyrham Herd

Always difficult to pick out one shot when you go shooting deer at Dyrham Park, but this one is kind of nice. As the hill drops away behind toward Bath, this alpha buck walks calming between his ladies, bellowing out his dominance. The roar is remarkable, although for some reason Janet thinks it's reminiscent of a familiar night-time sound. I'm sure I don't know what she means...
