Wansford weathervane

This is the weather-vane on the parish church of St Mary the Virgin in Wansford, Cambrigeshire.  I have driven past the Wansford turn-off on the A1 on many occasions without ever having stopped.  The main reason for this stop was to get a blip of the Art Deco roadhouse at the side of the A1 that was formerly a Little Chef (I ate there once many years ago).
Fortunately, the roadhouse has been rescued from oblivion and been given a makeover.  It now appears to be a dealership for Ducati motorbikes.
Unfortunately, there was a ruddy great Ducati van outside the building obscuring the blipping opportunity.

Maybe another day!
