- citizens decided they didn't want the building to be left alone to just sit and be vacant so they founded this place 
-deed restriction saying this property has to be used for education purposes set in 1900's
-free concerts in the lawn

-hear from community and provide for them what they want and asked for 
-they host & other company's come and rent out the rooms by flat fee by the hour
-non profit
-raise 60% of annual 400,000 income 
-rest comes from renting
