This beautiful pearl bracelet was given to me after 'Aunt Mamie' died. She was a spinster 'aunt' of G . They lived in Belfast and were lifelong friends to G's parents. She lived with her sister Tillie all her life. Tillie was proposed to by a young man but she wouldn't leave Mamie so the two of them lived to a ripe old age. Mamie died in 2005 and Tillie died last year at the grand old age of 98. Her body let her down but her mind was still sharp. She loved to hear about the youngsters and what they were up to! I love this bracelet and will treasure it always.
