Glasgow under a big sky

I rather like this minimalist view of my home city from the Kingston Bridge, taken as we crawled through the city centre on our way east this afternoon. The sky looks rather more apocalyptic than it was because I was shooting into the sun, but it felt appropriate.

This was because of the quite appalling air quality on the crowded corridor of the M8 on such a windless afternoon. We were forced to drive with the internal air circulation and the air-con on to rid ourselves of the smell.

I'm glad I don't live in a city these days.
