Laughing out Loud.
After seeing the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery leave their barracks in St John's Wood and firing a 41 gun salute in Hyde Park back in February, today Sugar Daddy and I went to see the new barracks in Woolwich.
Blackadder, pictured here, is a 12 year old gelding, troop number 98.
Being black he is one of six troop horses on permanent standby to pull the ceremonial gun carriage that would carry the coffin for a state funeral.
Not that he looks bovvered by the responsibility, he is simply very happy with his new accommodation and the Polo mint I slipped him when nobody was looking.
