Thank you for the birthday wishes yesterday. I wore my new boots/shoes all day today - no comment in the accounting office but my favourite year 6 boy at the Arq made a face of amazement when I collected him and uttered "great shoes!" with awe in his voice!

So another long day but my last Arq Thursday as I'm dropping a session after half term.

This evening The Boy produced a chicken roast dinner though his timing was a bit off so we ended up eating at 7.30 when MrRoly and his Mum got back! Mike and Sarah called in just as we tucked into birthday cake and I then opened my birthdays presents - I'm feeling very spoilt!
