Flowers at the temple
Bulguksa temple is around 10 km from Gyeongju and was originally built in 528. It's been destroyed and rebuilt many times since then. It's on a hill surrounded by woodland and is larger than many temples I've seen. Today there were lots of pots of beautiful flowers displayed in one area of the temple.
It was a dull grey day with some spots of rain as I was leaving the temple. This afternoon I walked around a few more of Gyeonju's historic sites, including past the archaeological dig happening 2 minutes walk from where I was staying. Then I got the bus to Busan. Tomorrow is my last full day in South Korea.
