Fall Friday

I had to forego Flower Friday today in preference to the glowing autumn colour that has suddenly exploded around us. It is much more marked this year as the weather has been more suitable for the autumn colours. Last October had many early days of sub zero temperatures and snow so the leaves were frost affected and rather dull compared to this year. 
We drove to Budweis in Czech Republic this morning for my dental appointment. I wish I had taken a photo when the sun was shining on the way there rather than the way back when the light was dull and I only had my iPhone. This was taken of a river that flows through Austria and Czech Republic - the Lainsitz in German or Lužnice in Czech.
