Bird Watching

I've been reliably informed that there are migrant blackcaps, fieldfares, redwings, bramblings, goldcrests and goodness knows what other birds in the fields behind the village.

Ollie and I went to investigate this afternoon but, although I heard lots of calls, twittering and tweeting, all I saw were the usual suspects including pheasants, hooded crows, blackbirds, sparrows and robins.  Perhaps the visitors were put off by the bouncing boy!

Ollie was very patient and long suffering but I made sure we had a good walk afterwards and he came back with a coat full of twigs and bits of foliage!
