As one door closes...

This little fellow was sitting peacefully, having a rest, on the door mechanism of our front door. Thank goodness he caught my eye as he could have been squashed!!

However, after my little girl almost fell out of the front door it was time to move him on and close the door...

As he stretched his beautiful wings a brilliant sight of red filled my eyes... how amazing nature is to arm him with camouflage but to also give him a little piece of fashion too?! :)
