Today I had the privilege of working with a school that's had a tough time. They are working hard to get themselves out of a mess and they're doing really well. The future looks a bit fuzzy, but their work and determination have already made marked changes. We talked about values, ethos, worth, identity & a whole load more. Although there was a lot of policy stuff to be done the headteacher was so enthralled by the work of reception & Y1 that I had an immediate and impromptu tour of an excited, engaged and enthused class full of joy and hope! Not bad for Friday afternoon, just before half term. Great teachers doing a great job! No photos of school or of children so a fuzzy picture of hands working together, united in the symbol that brings hope.
