Yes I was the fat bloke at school that ended up with the joke instrument, didn't need to blow or suck, pluck or plonk, strum or stroke, all I had to do was rattle!
To be fair there's have been some great names attached to the humble tambourin, Robert Plant, Davey Jones (just monkeying around) and Mary J Blige to name a few......maybe I'm not tone deaf after all.
