Not Any More

Phoenix City Hall is now a huge, modern structure across the street. It's actually an impressive and attractive building, but it's nothing like the original, sandstone version from earlier times.

Went to the investiture of a friend as a Superior Court Judge. I don't know if there's any long term benefit to me from this appointment but you never know, so I skived-off from work and went along. The two of us are off to the reception in a wee bit.
Still bloody warm here. I recognize many would think it's nice problem to have, but 97F(35C) is a bit rich for late October. I don't want to hunt for a jacket just yet, but 10-15 less degrees doesn't sound like too much to ask.
