Pontoon

Always try an take an early photo in case something comes up later on in the day that stops me from taking something later on. This evening the rain is pouring down so here we have another view taken from the small boat harbour in Lerwick before heading into the office.

This pontoon was put on place last year for the Tall Ships but I don't think it has been used this year and it is not connected to the main harbour walls. The Terns are making good use of it though as they will feel safer feeding from here than they would from the harbour itself
