back blip - Flower

Unfortunately I did not feel well today.  We should have done Etna and Taormina and I was particularly looking forward to this.  KG could have gone but he decided to stay with me.  We read for a while in the morning and later we went for a little walk.  The hotel really was in the middle of nowhere and we could only just walk around the corner.  There were some stunning flowers and this one (which I have never seen before but think it belongs to the morning glory family) was stunning.  It felt quite leathery and was quite pliable.
Back to the hotel and KG had a cool beer.  We sat in the garden patio and KG said he could feel the ground shaking  and we decided it must have been a  minor tremor The rest of the party came back about 6.00.  We met up with the rest or our 6 and had beer and prosecco before dinner.
