What should have been a 4 hour drive to Norfolk turned into a much longer journey thanks to tractors on the A47 and a lengthy delay in The Friendly Farmer - what used to be a half decent place to stop for coffee and a bite to eat today took 50 minutes to bring us some hard poached eggs on toast, a sausage sandwich and a watery latte.
