Wear and tear

Didn't do much today. It's evening as I type this and I'm preparing for a one on one workshop at Punt van Reide tomorrow. I'll leave around six 'o clock in the morning so I guess it's bedtime for me soon. This photo is the ballhead on top of the tripod. I've had it since 2011 and it's showing some wear and tear. The most recent scratch was added during my Lake District trip, when I bumped the tripod into the ceiling while walking down the stairs in the hotel. The tripod was strapped to my photo backpack. I remembered to lower my head but forgot about the tripod on my back. Oh well; it's still working fine...
