Petit bonheur du jour

The book I'm reading talks of the concept of finding the petit bonheur du jour - I think it would translate as finding your little daily joy- I love this idea.
Today I loved taking Nelly shopping to get bits for her Hallowe'en costume. A kind lady in a charity shop gave her a wee packet of lovehearts and chased after us out of the shop to give her a Hallowe'en booty bag.
We also bumped into an old friend of my Auntie Helen's, it was lovely to see her.
