Fountains Abbey

We had a travelling home day today.  We started off at the RSPB reserve just north of Southport, and then headed inland to Gawthorpe Hall for lunch and afternoon tea.

For the evening, we visited Fountains Abbey where the abbey was lit by floodlights.  We had a great time.
